ContexteLe DRC est actif en Afrique de l’Ouest depuis 1998 via son Bureau Régional WAAM basé à Dakar, couvrant onze pays, dont le Sénégal et le Burkina Faso.2. ObjetLe DRC WAAM recherche un.e stagiaire dynamique au sein du Département Finance pour un stage professionnalisant à temps plein. Le.la stagiaire sera intégré.e sous la supervision du Responsable régional de la Finance et des Finance Officers avec des collaborations diverses.3. Responsabilités principalesArchivage (25%) : gérer l'archivage des pièces comptables, contrôle de leur conformité, numérisation et classement électronique.Comptabilité (50%) : gestion des opérations de caisse, saisie des dépenses, archivage des justificatifs, rapprochements et appui technique administratif et financier.Audit & Conformité (25%) : appui aux audits, collecte des justificatifs, respect des règlements internes et politiques DRC, alerte sur tout manquement.4. Qualifications requisesBac+2 minimum en Finance, Comptabilité, Management de Projet, Business Administration ou formation type Bioforce.1 à 6 mois d'expérience professionnelle.Connaissance des logiciels comptables (SAGE, Dynamics, Navision, Saga, etc.) souhaitée.Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Office et Excel.Compétences analytiques, de rapportage, interpersonnelles et gestion du stress.Excellente maîtrise du français à l'oral et à l'écrit.Un bon niveau d'anglais est un atout.Bonne compréhension du travail en environnement international.5. Interns must be between 20 and 36 years old and should have less than two years of relevant working experience.Background InformationLocated in IOM’s Dakar Regional Office, under direct supervision of the Regional Data and Stabilisation Officer and overall supervision of the RTS Data and Research, the successful candidate will integrate the Regional Office’s Regional Data Hub (RDH). This unit is dedicated to providing data and analysis expertise and guidance for implementing the IOM Strategic Plan. The RDH strengthens the regional evidence base on migration by providing technical support and capacity development to IOM offices, regional bodies, member states and other stakeholders on migration and displacement data; and supporting the uptake of knowledge and evidence to inform policies and programmes. Activities and objectives of the RDH are in line with the priorities of delivering data for action, insight and foresight. This position will be based within the RDH team in Dakar, Senegal and will be focused on supporting the quality control structures for DTM analytic outputs in the region.ResponsibilitiesUnder the lead of the Regional Data and Stabilisation Officer and RTS Data and Research, contribute to the production, analysis, writing, editing and publication of timely and accurate DTM reports, factsheets, and dashboards; produce summary statistics, analysis and narrative for regional reports; centralize, clean and process DTM data in the Regional Data Warehouse (RDW) in SQL; support report drafting; assist in data analysis and quality assurance; provide ad hoc support to country offices; support data management and initiatives; contribute to data quality control and compliance with IOM Data Protection Principles; coordinate with global DTM support teams; perform administrative and logistical support; and other assigned tasks.Training Components and Learning ElementsParticipants will be able to contribute to production and dissemination of quality DTM reports and dashboards; support drafting and analysis of regional migration data; coordinate with country offices on technical support and quality assurance; apply knowledge in key thematic areas such as solutions, climate vulnerability, transhumance; assist new data initiatives; and ensure data quality and protection standards.QualificationsEducation: Master's degree in Economics, Development Economics, Data Science, Political Science, Social Science, Development Studies, Public Health, Epidemiology or related field with significant quantitative component, or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.Experience: Excellent research, writing, communication and statistical/analytical skills; strong knowledge and interest in migration and related fields; ability to work in diverse teams under tight deadlines.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with Python, ArcGIS/QGIS, SQL Server; analytic outputs drafting; research methods; data visualization (Adobe suite); organizing events.Languages: Excellent English and French; fluency in Arabic or Spanish is advantageous.Required CompetenciesInclusion, integrity, professionalism, courage, empathy, teamwork, delivering results, managing knowledge, accountability, communication.NotesOffer subject to funding confirmation; appointment subject to medical fitness and verification; interns receive a small stipend depending on experience and location; IOM covers occupational accident insurance; interns must have personal medical insurance for non-occupational illness; zero tolerance policy for misconduct; no recruitment fees; applications only via IOM online recruitment system.POSTULERnonlusif
