About You and The Role
Zipline's People team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator Intern (6-month contract) to support our growing recruiting efforts in Africa. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited about Talent, Recruiting, or People Operations and wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience from start to finish. You'll work closely with the Recruitment Partners, Hiring Managers, and cross-functional teams to keep hiring processes organized, efficient, and candidate-focused.
What You'll Do
- Support the Recruitment Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple time zones, ensuring timely communication with candidates and interviewers
- Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, helping them navigate the interview process and ensuring a great experience
- Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (e.g., Greenhouse)
- Assist with interview logistics, including virtual and onsite coordination
- Help identify scheduling or process bottlenecks and propose simple, effective solutions
- Support recruitment-related projects and administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders to keep hiring processes on track
What You'll Bring
- 0–2 years of experience in administrative, coordination, or operations roles (internships included)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact professionally with candidates and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, spreadsheets, etc.) and the willingness to learn quickly
- Interest in building a career in Recruiting, Talent, or People Operations
- You must have the legal right to work in Rwanda/Nigeria/Ghana/Côte d'Ivoire
- Working fluency in English is mandatory
