UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.

At UNICEF, we are committed, passionate, and proud of what we do for as long as we are needed. Promoting the rights of every child is not just a job – it is a calling.

UNICEF is a place where careers are built: we offer our staff diverse opportunities for professional and personal development that will help them reinforce a sense of purpose while serving children and communities across the world.

For every child, the right to Support

The Fada Field Office is located in eastern Burkina Faso and covers four regions: Nakambe, Goulmou, Tapoa and Sirba.

The East region is the 4th region most affected by the security and humanitarian crisis after the Sahel, Centre-Nord and Nord regions. 60% of internally displaced people (IDPs) are children and deprived of their rights to education, health, protection, and healthy environment.

The Fada Field Office will play a key role in advancing the objectives of the 2027–2030 Country Programme, which adopts geographic and demographic targeting as a key implementation approach.

Given the public health and humanitarian challenges in the Area of Responsibility, the position requires strong capacity to lead multisectoral field programming, with expertise in health or public health.
